Decide on Prefinished Vs. Unfinished Cabinet Doors
We offer both unfinished paint-grade cabinet doors and drawer faces, as well as prefinished cabinet doors and drawer faces that are coated with a tinted conversion varnish available in any Sherwin Williams color. This colored coating is much more durable than paint and dries quicker with a harder finish for better durability.
Finished Cabinet Doors
For customers who don’t have the means to paint the doors themselves, we also offer prefinished cabinet doors. These doors, with the same six design options as the unfinished doors, are professionally coated with a smooth and durable conversion varnish finish, available in any Sherwin Williams color. Unlike traditional paint, this tinted finish is much more cleanable and dries to a much harder finish. Finished cabinet doors require an additional two weeks of production time.
Unfinished Cabinet Doors
Using only the highest quality paint-grade MDF, we custom craft each cabinet door order using a state-of-the-art CNC machine. Each door is then hand-sanded to an even smoother finish before it is packaged and shipped to your door. These cabinet doors are great for contractors or homeowners who want to paint their own doors on-site to match existing cabinet boxes. Typical turnaround time for unfinished cabinet doors is 10 days or less from the time the order is paid in full.

Choose a Hinge Option
Depending on how you need your door to attach to the cabinet boxes, we can bore for concealed hinges as needed. We can help you with deciding on which hinge works best for your scenario. You’ll first need to know if your cabinet boxes are frameless or framed.
Frameless cabinets are more sleek and modern, or used in commercial settings. Most existing kitchens will have cabinet boxes with face frames. The photo to the right illustrates the difference between these two options. If your cabinets have face frames, you’ll need to know how much of the door overlaps the face frame so we can inset your hinges correctly. Learn how to measure your overlap.

Determine Measurements for Cabinet Doors & Drawer Faces
For each cabinet door, there are a few different measurements we will need to know:
-
Rail Width (runs horizontal) – Standard is 2.5”, but we can customize if need be.
-
Stile Width (runs vertical) – Most orders use the same stile width as rail width, but this can also be customized if need be.
-
Total Door Width – Measurement from left edge to the right edge when hung.
-
Total Door Height – Measurement from top edge to the bottom edge when hung.
NOTE: Drawer face terminology works the same. However, it’s important to note that any drawer faces smaller than 7 1/2” will automatically have a reduced top and bottom rail to 1.25” unless otherwise requested.
